Hi all I am up helping with a disability day - sailing and kayaking on Clywedogg which is close to the loop on Saturday and wondering if it's worth coming up early Friday and having a go at the loop? Any suggestions would be appreciated

If the weather is good it would be worth the hour drive (although there is never a guarantee anything will be flying)

Thanks for the reply I will be driving up Friday so will make an early start from north devon what time is best to get there and how long is it to walk from the car parking areas again any advice greatly received

Have a look HERE for some info.

I'd try Cad West, it's got the easiest access (15-30mins uphill) and the biggest car park. People get there from about 8:00am so if you arrive about then you'll have people to follow :)

A couple of shots from a TPF meet earlier this year :)

I'm travelling to Wales for a couple of weeks in Spetember, and the Mrs has agreed a day pass to Cad West.
Is a standard 70-300 4.5-5.6 going to cut it, or do I need to put my hand in my pocket and hire a lens?
Body is a 450d
