Macbook upload problem

Im having a problem uploading photos to a website off my macbook. I have uploaded photos and they have lost a lot of quality while doing so.
I asked on a forum part of the website but no one could help me correct this problem. This is the website, with my photos.

As you can see they have went blurry. Although when i upload to photobucket they are fine.

would that not be down to how the site stores the photos then?

Nothing to do with MacBook and everything to do with the stupendous file compression the site uses - typical pic size on that site = 33kb.

So how do i get them to work correctly without loosing quality?

host them elseware if theyll let you?

No they only let you upload them through there uploader. They use Java.
