How can we help to keep the battery life of the Macbook pro longer the capacity side of things
 
You mean how to make it last longer with regards to life span on per charge? Keep it out of the cold? Recharge only when it's fully discharged? I'm not sure what else you could do. Also depends on what applications you're running, whether your watching videos or processing images etc.
 
Yeah I always have them off when not in use... What I meant was to help the battery live long and go through many charge cycles...
