MacBook pro 15-inch screen yay or nay

Ive tried one in store today and looks like one click mouse instead of 2 buttons :)
Will see how i go with track pad first

The Magic Mouse can tell where you are touching it, so one big button works as left click, right click and scroll wheel - magic!

Another vote for yes! - I have been using Macbook Pro for about 7 years now and don't regret the move to Apple one bit. The first one that I had lasted me almost 6 years before I decided that it was time for an upgrade. My current one is coming up for one year old and I am very happy with it. Aside from normal computing requirements I use mine for video editing. I do prefer video editing using my large external screen but the resolution of the 15 inch screen is so good that I use it for video/photo editing when I am out and about.
As my storage requirement is high, I went for the 1TB storage option - expensive but I don't have to worry about storage space.
In normal daily use I do use an external screen on it but then, in the evening move into the lounge and continue to work in the evening using the 15-inch display.
Regards mouse vs trackpad2 I find that I use an external touchpad 2 when doing normal computer stuff and then actually prefer to use a mouse when I am video editing, photo editing or doing graphic work etc.
I do use the built-in trackpad - the new trackpad is very good and works well but do also take an external trackpad and mouse with me when working remotely.
All of it works well - unfortunately, it just costs a lot but it lasts a long time.
I hope that all of this is of some help. Another tip - John Lewis offer better warranty than Apple direct. However, buy Apple if you are able to get Educational Discount.

Latest magic mouse has internal batteries which you charge via a lightning cable. No more hunting around for batteries. However the track pad works well on the MBP. You can set it up so that a two finger tap give you the same result as a right click. And yes it works fine with Lightroom, Photoshop needs a bit more skill. However you could always use a wired mouse and save a few pounds if a mouse is needed ( not an Apple one that is)

Latest rumour is new MacBooks wont be announced until October. September event is likely to be iPhone 7 based.
