Can anybody tell me how to remove unwanted email addresses in hotmail when using Safari/Firefox.The address bar will show all previous addresses beginning with the letter selected even though they may not be in the contacted list.Thank you.

They are probably stored as cookies or forms....

Cookies:

To clear = Safari > preferences > security. Click "SHOW COOKIES". Click "REMOVE ALL"

Forms:

Safari > preferences > Autofill. Click "Edit" after Other forms. Then look in the list for hotmail. If it is neither of these you would need to look elsewhere.

select them and deleat if you asking the question I think you are
