OK so I have a problem.

Whilst I'm editing on my macbook with no external screen everything is fine, colours look as they are expected to. Then once I export to jpeg (Adobe RGB) and open the jpeg - the jpeg looks completely off, ridiculous magenta cast, and loads of saturation.

However, when I plug in my Dell U2410 and work on that, I have none of these problems. Everything looks as it should after export.

So I'm wondering, why would a JPEG look different on my macbook screen to the dell screen when they both look exactly the same when working in photoshop?

If anyone has any advice for me please feel free to let me know!

have you tired setting/working on them all in sRGB instead of Adobe RGB and seeing whether that solves the problem?

Yep still get the same problem, it is utterly strange! I'm confused as to what the problem could be, it's not a calibration issue and it doesn't seem to be a profile issue either. I should also add that this just started happening one day, before a week ago it was all fine.

What application are you using to export the JPEG's and how are you viewing them on both the Dell and the Mac

Go to Sys Prefs and have a look at what profile the Mac is using for the MacBook screen and what it is using for the Dell.
