Mac Users - OSX Lion Preview .....

Looks nice! Some nice UI changes there by the looks of things. The launchpad looks awfully similar to the iPad springboard, although that's not a bad thing as I quite liked it. :)

I've read that Lion will include TRIM support too, which should be nice for SSD users.

Looks good, but not too sure about the full screen apps :/ I actually like the possibility to view more than one window open on my screen. That was the main difference from browsing the net on my iPod touch and my MBP :)

very nice - definitely upgrade my OS to that - hopefully won't be too expensive!

Hmmm........ I don't see anything there that I would say, wow, thats good.

Seems to be all gloss especially the iPad gestures, will wait to see what the underlying features are, there is nothing on the link above that I would really use, I'm a bit of a power user and have been set in my ways for years.

It seems pretty much 10.6.6 , with a subtle change to mail

I haven't seen a single thing in the previews that makes me go wow I need that!

Full screen apps - See Windows 3.11
Auto Save documents - DOS
Air drop - This is part of Apple Remote already
Dropping Rosetta - Hmmm thats going to upset some people
New File Vault - We already have file vault.
App Store - We already have that.
Mission Control - A handy new feature that shows what is running.... What like a blue dot next to it in the task bar!
Versions - Oh like errr Time Machine.
Resume - Windows has had this for years but anyone with a laptop already has this, it's called close the lid.
New Gestures - What next? We have so many now I can't keep track. They will have so many soon that you will end up launching something whist just trying to scroll down a page. We will see if this is helpful but even if it is it isn't much of an addition to warrant a new OS.

Well I'm sure there will be something new AND useful.....
