Mac Studio Setup

Well I'm the proud owner of a new Mac Studio.

I do have a question that I hope some of you may be able to answer please?

I have an iMac with a Time Machine backup. I want to migrate the data from the TM to the new Studio. When I first switch on my Studio do I use the same user name and password that I use on the iMac to set up my account?

Sorry can't help with an answer but when I swapped over to Mac from Win I asked most question here https://www.mac-forums.com/ and got great advice. Russ.

When you first power on it’ll ask how you want to set it up, you can restore for tm or migrate from another mac.

IIRC it’s before you setup an account.
