I may have to have a raplacement Mac because mine is faulty. ANyway i have programs such as Office 2011 which i have bought and im wondering if the same serial code will be ok to use once i reinstall it on my new mac?

When I took my old iBook in and replaced it with a new Macbook, they did the transfer and everything worked just fine.

Yes, the serial number is not linked to the machine. Can't remember if you need to ensure that it's uninstalled on the old machine or not though.

Before you take the machine in for repair/replacement, open office and check tools on the tool bar for a deactivate option.

As a precaution you could turn it off and then just reactivate using your serial number when you have the machine repaired etc.
