Mac book pro help - calibration?

do mac books need calibration just like a standard laptop?

(and recommendations about the latest calibrator would help too! )

Colour calibration? Yeah its probably for the best. I calibrate mine with a spyder 4 Elite and the post-calibration screen colours are noticeably different to the factory settings. But in saying that I usually only cull shoots on my macbook - I don't edit on it if i can help it.

Interesting comment about not editing on your mac, could I ask why?

Yes, they need calibrating.

I use colormunki display as I can calibrate my printers with it too.

Yes my mbp needed calibrating, once calibrated though they do seem to stick to it,

I calibrate much less often than I should, last time i left it nearly a year, and it had altered very slightly, but was still in the 'acceptable' range

Interesting comment about not editing on your mac, could I ask why?

Because even when calibrated its not particularly accurate
And being a tn type panel it's susceptible to color shifts based on viewing angle
