Hi all

As always I’m looking to upgrade my camera again. I’ve seen that Panasonic have quite a good offer on the G9 at the moment but what would be better for wildlife and landscape shots

Panasonic G9
Olympus M1 iii
Olympus M5 iii

Thanks in advance

Jack

G9 :)

Rated as one of the best wildlife cameras

I think the M1 iii would be your best bet.
Not sure the G9 is often the choice of wildlife photographers especially for birds in flight.

Personally not that keen on Olympus, sold my E-M1 ii and kept the G9, but I don't like wildlife photography either.

I use a olympus 1-mkiii and Olympus 100-400 with a all up total weight it gives me excellent results . Plenty of sample images on here in the olympus thread or the birds section ..

as per here , click on photo to go to my flickrstream .. tons of b.i.f /wildlife photos for you to make your mind up from ..
leave me alone by jeff cohen, on Flickr

Plenty on youtube from well known people too

At the risk of getting splinters from the fence, I would say that all three are similar yet different, and all can achieve great results depending on the photographer. Really you need, if possible, to handle all three as they each feel different. I own both the G9 and the E-M5iii, and have owned the M1ii. But then my usage is landscape/industrial heritage based.
