M1 accident emergency lane blocked

I hope the police get to see this:)

Give the man a job, superb stuff:thumbs:
Morons indeed
I was thinking that. Excellent presentation skills - He needs to be on the BBC.

As for the morons - the Police need to track their number plates down and get them queue up at the courts with the other rioting morons.

Brilliant :)

I followed a guy in a maserati last week, he pulled out in front of me from the hard shoulder then over the next couple of miles he was weaving about between lanes then he pulls over onto the hard shoulder and stops, as I go past I can see why he was weaving about, he was writing an email on his laptop, if the whole of the motorway network is covered by CCTV why don't they get prosecuted

Absolutely. Get that man a video camera and out making documentaries. I've seen a lot worse on the TV. A born natural.

People stopping on the hard should is just ignorance more than anything else. Which he points out in the video. Most of them probably don't realise what they're doing.

Would it be churlish to point out he was also comitting an offence by walking around the motorway? Pedestrians are not permitted.

Well was he, Check out #7

In a way he was, as he wasnt walking to get help by means of a roadside phone

awesome stuff, and very funny. Pretty much a natural.

As to the walking around on a motorway pettiness. compared to the halfwits blocking the hard shoulder, let alone recent events, hardly crime of the century was it.

Obviously the law is there to stop people waling along the motorway as a short cut to x y or z - not in situations such as posted.

I'm pretty sure the desire to make video to post on Youtube doesn't count as an emergency

:) lol true. No ones watching out for the bikes filtering through. When the traffics stopped you really have to pay attention when filtering to the front.

Haha, saw this on another forum. Top marks to the guy for doing it, seems like a real character. Could never do that myself for fear of being given a smack!

Bunch of mindless idiots and their attitude when it was pointed out to them the problems they were potentially causing was deplorable! However, I have say the policy of converting some hard shoulders to a 4th lane probably hasn't helped. They've done this on the M6 down by me. I was very sceptical about the wisdom of the whole idea, or the effectiveness of it on what is probably one of the busiest stretches of motorway in the country.

I have to say though that it has considerably speeded up traffic flow at peak times but I'm at a loss to understand how emergency services could get along there once everything is gridlocked, although they claim they can!

Braver man than me Gunga Din, embarrassing the "Doesn't apply to me" crowd. Lucky you didn't get a thump.
Well done.

Nice ink.

What a bunch of silly people.

The scarey thing is that various governments have considered letting traffic use the hard shoulder to ease congestion.
