i took this pic just practising,however its the exact pose that my little boy had done 2 years ago, now the problem, my partner wants it tidied up so i can get it printed as the one of my son was done proffesionally. dont know if id get the same pose again so im at your ( ps gurus) mercy to see if you can work some miracles. any help will be massively appreciated. thanks in advance. jase

You would be better of posting a link to the full sized image as it would be easier to work with. It might also be wise to post an image of the shot of your son :)
 
sorry i thought this was the correct size. is this any better? cant do the one of my son as i dont have a scanner,and its copyrighted!

did you just want the background and foreground tidying up a bit or was there something in particular you wanted doing with it?

Harvey, how did you gert rid of all the creases on the background material? Did you use clone tool?

amazing clean up, btw.
 
just used the patch tool in CS2 (CS4 won't load :( )

I selected a creased part of the background and then pulled the selection to the part just above the babies head where its really smooth. Just did that all the way over and then used the blur tool to make it more uniform.

Its about the only thing I know how to do is PS :D

thanks harvey you have done a great job!! would like the background a bit lighter too if thats not being too cheeky?? plllleeeeeaaaaaase im crap with all this editing stuff

No idea how to do it so had a play, although this one hasn't got the textured background it is lighter.
