Good close-up image Lynn. The wb is spot on ... as is the cream ha ha. I'd want a sling and a week off work for that !

I have to mirror Chris's comment re linking from the main thread, you were on page two when I went looking for this, and I think it's refelected by the lack of comments you've had this week.

Anyhow...
The pink of your hand pops from the blue background, so good use of colours there
ISO 1600 is quite high on the sensor that your powershot has, which is why there is a lack of detail. I think I would have tried using flash (perhpas modified to soften it) to increase the light allowing a lower ISO to be used.
That said, interesting take on the theme

Yes a very good idea, I have not seen one of them plug hole things for a looooooooong time, I would have been tempted to a square crop, but works fine how it is, nicely lit and detail as good as it could be

Good sharp capture and nicely on theme.
I would suggest having a play around with the levels adjustments though, to bring in a bit more black & white, as there is an overall grey feel to the image (which is what the camera auto white balance will do to any shot which is mainly white (or indeed mainly black))

Comfort - I like your idea behind this theme, but i think with a bit more thought. There may be a better composition, I do however like the closeness of the shot.

Hairy - fits the theme, but i am sorry the image doesn't have the wow factor for me.

Smooth swirls in your phone photo Lynn, I would never have guessed they were a reflection. Lovely colours in your stone for Mineral.

Mineral - I like the object, but the yellow bg is not working for me sadly.
