LX100ii recharged the battery and the screen won't work - help!

Good morning. I recharged the battery this morning and the screen won't display anything. The display button doesn't change anything. What am I missing please?

Don't be daft..........though he did post a 'redface' emoji, I wonder what the problem was. It might help others with the same dilemma :thinking: :naughty: ;)
 
There's a small button function5 which has a set of 3 initials which basically means that you can switch the viewfinder off and this doesn't appear to show up in any of menus which I could scroll through looking through the viewfinder. Ps not a 'he'.
