Lunar Eclipse This Wednesday

so far its red sky at night, Feltham's alight...

But no sign of moon, too many clouds, or the houses are in the way :(

Guy I work with is an amatuer astronomer, he tells me that you need to be high up to see it earlier on at its best

Same here had a really red sunset sky ,but cloud cover now moved in from the south so no moon . I just think it's going to be a miss on this .

beautiful clear sky and stuck in the house looking after the sprogs :bang:

Nice red sky and sunset but no moon, I think it's got lost.

Cloudy here in South Wales as well, no chance of a picture.

Eight eighths cloud here.

Was a no show in Dover too, I still got dragged out to see the rain clouds thou

Next one is in December, but unsure if it will last as long as last nites.

Ah well, we have to wait we have to wait 130 years for another like that.
I wonder what megapixels we will be on by then :)

There is another total eclipse viewable from the UK on September 28th 2015 but it will only last for an hour or so.... At least it will be nice and dark as it will be in the early morning around 2:10 am.

I'm opening bets now on it being cloudy and rainy...

lol Obviously I mean the length, as we all know, that is what counts :naughty:
