lumix g7 problem

hi all not sure this is the right place but i have a lumix g7 and for some reason it keeps everting to taking images in mono, if i turn the the dial o top of the camera to "scn" and choose something it shoots in colour but the moment i move to any other setting on that dial it reverts to mono, im sure its something ive done , but i dont know what.
also does anyone know how i view via the screen rather that the viewfinder, you would imagine it would be the button marked "lvf" which according to the manual is live view but that doesnt work either lol, not sure what ive done but ive changed a seting somewhere im sure, thanks

Try the display button while your not looking through the EVF to see if anything comes up on the screen.

For it being stuck in monochrome go to picture settings and pick a different style.
