8months in prison and only a 2year ban?. No where near the amount of time the recovery driver will be suffering for...

As someone who crashed into a broken down car one thing I shall forever be thankful of is that the car I hit was empty, and I feel a little dubious commented on this but I cannot help but think that the sentence was far to weak for the offence :(
 
Got to be honest and say I'm suprised injuries or fatalities are not higher with this kind of incident.I use the M ways daily and the amount of lorries that swerve onto the hard shoulder or into the next Lane is unbelievable.

I know you were badly injured, and that must have been a b****r to deal with...but I completely understand your relief that the car you collided with was empty.
