She was a trooper. I'm not sure that she did anything after Star Trek, and things like this always leave me feeling a little sad. Still, she threw herself into it and did some good with her fame.
She was indeed a very attractive woman and there was a goundbreaking moment in 1968, when she and Captain Kirk - William Shatner - kissed on screen (lucky man). This was the year of the Black Power salutes at the Mexico Olympics and the year when Martin Luther King was murdered.
