Hi all

One last question re LRPS - is the usual procedure to use standard window mounts with a back board to hold the prints flat?

Thanks

Phil

Yes it is...
But don't let that put you off being a creative with your mounts :)
Panels without mounts are prone to scratches.
I've seen double mounts and coloured mounts, but getting them right without killing the images is a skill I don't have.

It's also standard practice to use the same size mount.
However, for my ARPS I liked an arrangement where all the mounts were different sizes and the lady cutting my mounts said it was fine by her...
Sounds weird, but I like it and most people looking at my panel don't even realise the sizes are different.

Many thanks - my issue is that the different shots are different ratios so it may be challenging sorting that out!

When you get an A4 print and an A4 mount, is the mount cut slightly smaller to allow for an overlap for fitting?

Phil

Phil, usually the mount is 2mm smaller on each side so the print doesnt drop through.
But you can ask for them to be cut any size you like, just let the cutter know they are the actual sizes yo want the mount to be cut.

Very nice panel, well done!
