LR5 Help

Hi im trying to work out how to place multiple pictures in to one image. For example iv been taking pictures of a lilly that has been slowly opening so i want to be able to place the pictures side by side in one image but cant work out how!! I'm currently running LR5 and PS elements 11.

in elements you could open them up seperately, then with the first image enlare the canvas width ( retaining the height ) to the required size in relation to the numebr of images you have ( for example if image is 3000 pixels wide and you have 10 images then enlarge canvas to 30,000. ( this in no way expands the image just the canvas it sits on. then go to second image. select all then choose edit and copy. go back to first image and then paste... and position in place .. .. im sure theres most likely an easier way but thats one simple way of doing it so you end up with a big panorama montage.

the copy or paste selection isn't highlighted so it wont let me do it!!

Go to the "Print" tab in LR and select the images you want to print in the bar along the bottom.

Then fiddle with the controls in the menu on the right hand side to se the number of images and their size/spacing.

the copy or paste selection isn't highlighted so it wont let me do it!!

you have to choose edit then select all on each image so it puts the marching ants ( dotted lines ) around it. then copy/paste will work

ok im in elements now.. open first image then choose image /resize/ canvas size
make sure in the box with 9 arrows you choose the middle left hand arrow so when it expands it puts the blank canvas to the right of original image

then open the remaining images.

now on second image ( and subsequent ones do the following )
click select tab, then select all. this will give the dotted lines around image.
then click edit and copy
now open first image and click edit and paste.
then in the left hand toolbar click the move tool ( like a cross with a little arrow ) and you can slide the pasted image across to how you want it.

repeat for remaining images
