Yes
I've been running LR5 the latest version. - 5.5. Now for some strange reason it has reverted to an earlier version - just LR5.

It is most noticeable in the RAW editor where the sliders for Highlights/Shadows/Whites/Blacks etc have been replaced by the older Exposure/Reovery/Fill light/Blacks sliders.

I've not touch anything that I know of, and checking the info says that I'm on the latest version. But obviously I'm not.

Anyone know what's happening, and how to correct it?

I started off in LR5 from my disc, and the latest version have come as automatic downloads, so re-installing would appear to be out of the question.

Nope, sorry. That's not sorted it. I now notivce that the Initial screen says LR5. It used to say LR5.5.

EDIT
And now it's sorted itself out and is back to normal. Odd very odd.

Further edit...

It's doing it at random. Some photos it's the upto date version. Some it's the old version. All photos shot yesterday on the same gear.

Right I've narrowed it down further.

LR uses the current up to date version on images taken with my gear, all bought legit in this country. But it throws a wobble when I try and process images taken with a 24-105 that I borrowed from my mate. Didn't have mine with me so I borrowed his lens recently bought as part of a kit with a 6D. I suspect the lens may be a grey import!!!!!!!

Lightroom won't care if it's a grey import.

Try selecting all your images and syncing them to ensure they're all using the latest process version.

Ah, that seems to work, thank you. But why would random images from the middle of a shoot choose a different process version? Is that a glitch of some sort? (P.S. I'm a numpty on techy stuff!)

To be honest, I haven't a clue, never come across that issue before o_O

OK. Thanks for your help. I've learned something today, so can deal with it should it recur.
