hi all just a quicky im loading nefs about 23mb,editing/cropping etc and outputting to jpeg but the file size is less than 1mb when exported which also means a loss in quality,could anyone tell me what all the output settings are best to make a larger/better quality file thanks

File size will depend heavily on how big you are cropping.... To increase quality, when you export, there is a quality slider. The higher the number, the larger the file.

what do most people output to and what size seems to be about standard for keeping as a pic in a library thanks

Output depends on what the client/ Library require. I'm surprised you are getting such small files. Are you using a large amount of JPEG compression with the quality slider. I try to output at 100% if the client can take that size Which means my image files are around 15Mb when output.

I'm reluctant to go much below 80%, but having said that I have used 50% in some extreme cases
