Might be being stupid here but I thought in LR4 the curves palette can adjust on individual colour channels like it does on Photoshop? I can't work out how its done :bonk:
Not at my computer but IIRC click on the button at the bottom right of the curves panel (above the sliders) to switch to Linear from Parametric, then choose your channel.
