LR4 another basic question - sorry

When I press the Y key to see 'before & after' shots & choose 'split screen' is there any way of moving the split or the image around the split. I ask as every time I click, the image, to hold and move it (two 'its' must be bad grammar sorry) it magnifies and I was hoping I could keep it at screen fit size.

When I hit Y it fits both copies on the screen. So there's no way to move around because you see the whole thing.

Click to magnify then you can drag. As with all LR zooms it's either fit to screen or 100%.

BTW you may find the \ key more useful than Y

Sorry to hijack slightly...ok so what is the difference (in LR4) between the highlights and whites recovery sliders?
