LR3 Changes My Photos Automatically

As above, when I import my photos from my camera to LR3 and go to view them, it comes up with a loading sign and then the saturations, colours etc noticeably change. I took a load of photos at the RIAT last week and when I view them, LR3 is changing the very blue sky to a sky with a slightly green tinge to it, its difficult to explain, but why is LR3 doing this and how do I stop it? Thanks in advance.
PS - using a macbook pro with an uncalibrated screen, camera is a Nikon D90. Cheers :)
 
Have you got the automatically correct on import button ticked?

Are you using any import presets? AWB/Camera profiles etc?
 
No im not using any import presets as far as I am aware. Also should mention Ive had LR3 for a while but have only started to figure out how to use it.
How can I find out if I have the automatically correct or import button ticked?
 
You shooting RAW? If so, the saturations/colours do change as the first image you see is the preview JPEG that has had processing applied whilst the one it settles on after loading is the raw data for you to start processing from.

In the develop module, at the bottom of the right hand column is the Camera Calibration panel. The dropdown Profile should apply close to the in camera processes as a starting point.
