LR CC boot up speed

Ok Folks this is a strange one for me...

When you start LR up for the first time from either a Fresh boot up from the iMac. How long does yours take to load up..

Mine is taking around 25 secs.. When I click on LR the Adobe manager isn't it that loads up too it all seem to take about 25 secs but once loaded it fine... But the Stand Alone version LR 6 takes 5 secs to load up..

Just wondering if this normal and before anyone ask no i am not using a SSD
 
But what confuse me why stand alone quicker than cc
 
Does the CC version not check your subscription status online during boot? Could that be the cause as standalone wouldn't check that.

If it does then it shouldn't take that long on a 78mb fibre surely?

I thought it only needed to check once a months and 35 seconds to get info from a server seems a long time. I can download a lot of data in 35 seconds.
 
About 4 seconds on my MBA and 6 seconds on my Surface Pro 3.
 
I did think it was a crazy long time @rookies ...... Mines 3 or 4 seconds on cc on x99 pc ssd

Yes on both; the 512GB SSD directly on the PCEI bus on the MBA, and a 256GB SSD via traditional SATA on the Surface Pro
 
I think SSD is where people not having problems

I guess it doesn't bother you to much?? But once you in it works fine?
