Hi

I have cc2014 which has been working well until i upgraded to Yosemite i use LR map module quite a bit and know it worked with Maverick

OK so now as far as i can tell CC2014 still works but one weird issue is maps module the navigator panel show say the UK but the large panel does not show the map, if i go on a page of images tagged already it seems to show the locations but no map visible

The other things if i leave the map open after maybe 3 hours a map is starting to form of the world if i then try load images into Flicrr it will not connect and i loose net access across the other media options on the mac only. I can get access back if i close LR and reopen LR gives me flickr upload as long as i don't use Map Module

I can in safari get on Google maps no problem my user name is read write for flash plug in .... Bizarre any one got any idea please

Cheers

Maps work fine on my version of 5.6 under Yos.

You might want to try deleting LR5 ( but not the cat's and reinstall, just in case some thing's got corrupt. You could also try the Lightroom community at Adobe in case anyone else has a similar problem

Thanks John

Yes it has crossed my mind when yos was launched I was on LR 5.5 so I didthe update for 5.6 thinking that would be fresh. It's darn weird mainly as it seems to disable network access across the whole Mac

Update if anyone thinks of this

Setting about moving back for Maverick
Bluetooth intermittent so key board and mouse goes off
LR 5.6 map module will not work issue raised over 3 months ago with adobe
http://feedback.photoshop.com/photo..._lightrooms_map_module_in_os_x_10_10_yosemite
Ethernet and wifi intermittent
Iphone will not tether via bluetooth or wifi only USB
Slow starting up

Thats me learnt lol windows 8 millenium thought this sort of failure was only microsoft apple has lost some credibility with me today thats for sure

Think a few times before you take the plunge and make back ups first and good luck getting help from Adobe with LR if you loose and wanted maps module

There was a big stink all over the net about Bluetooth not working properly with iOS8. I (and millions of others) lost the ability for the iphone to be used with most car's bluetooth systems. All has been fixed in iOS 8.1. Have you tried the USB tethering with iOS8.1 (not something I have ever wanted/needed to try). Handoff between iOS8 and Yosemite needs bluetooth to be turned on and working (though not paired) on both devices.

Hi

I was lucky my phone still paired with car and mac i releneted and have re installed Yosemite still unable to pair iPhone on the mac darn weird works fine in the car i am on most recent software across the apple devices

Been trying to log in for CC keep rejecting password may do that later on least the mail app in mac works correctly now thats a plus

Adoce are now saying the development team have gone that worked on LR5 and the errors some have are in the air not only that but it means it may be LR6 before a fix very very annoying for me don't mind paying but would like the software to work

Cheers
