Is there anyone else on here using Virgin Media having problems loading Loxley Colours website?

Iv tried with Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, iv been in touch with VM and they say the site is at fault! but i can get on the site with my Vodafone dongle, and on my Mobile! im also able to access it from my local Cafe on their wireless net.

Has anyone else had this problem and managed to fix the problem?

I wonder if London could be on a different system? the old Nagra/Whatever it was with Cable..

I just cant see why its not working for me..

Thanks for that, looks like its just me then!.. :gag:

Strangely, it loaded ALMOST on the laptop, it was extremely slow and not all images loaded, but today its back to not loading at all!!

I've had the same problem for the last couple of weeks using virgin in west london

Loxley has said on their Facebook page that people on Virgin media are having problems, they want them all to report it to VM as the more reports they receive the higher priority they will give it.. atm they look at it as YOUR problem, but if lots of reports come in then they will see its THEM with the problem...

I used Loxley for the first time yesterday via my Virgin media broadband and had no problems at all, so I don't think it can be affecting all virgin customers.

When VM was still Telewest, they had two systems in place, its something to do with DOCSIS and the other system, im wondering if its to do with the upgrades they have made and changes to the existing system? i used to get on Loxley fine! but i think its been since they sent out new TV cards, they must have changed something..

Loxley have a fix on their Facebook page, you go into your Proxy settings, its easy, im now bombing along with their site..

Im just re-posting this on here as it may help someone..

(mac) open safari - in the menu bar click on safari, preferences, advanced, now go to "Proxies: change settings..." then chose web proxy (http), now type in to the Web Proxy Serve...r pain - webcache.virginmedia.com and in the next box type 8080.
close it all down click apply if prompted to do so quit safari then open it and you should be up and running. this process is the same for other web browsers on the mac they all take there main protocols from safari (so i am lead to believe)...
Now pc this is to be done in internet explorer (ie) open ie in the menu go to tools internet options then lan settings and enter the same address above once thats done aplly the changes and closedown all windows and ie and thats it you

HTH..
