so then i have done a search on these to and looked at both of the sites and programs. both have good reviews but what makes loxley worth the extra cash. i am looking for somewhere to print profesional prints. photos will generally be of people doing activities such as climbing etc. i see that people say that loxley has a slightly better quality but is there anything else that accounts for the extra cash.

thanks for reading.

I use Loxley on a regular basis and find them really responsive if I have any questions / concerns. Quality counts so that justifies the price difference - got to keep the customers happy.

Best way is to decide for yourself if they meet your needs.
Send them both the same file and see which one you prefer, that's how I settled with Loxley.

thanks for the replies so far i intend to send a batch of photos off to both and compare them i just wondered if there was any extra service or something that really differed between the two apart from quality.

With Loxley, you also get colour correction if you want it at no extra cost, DSCL don't do any CC, just depends what you want really, a lot of people go to great lengths to PP their images exactly as they want them and, don't want them changed by colour correction during printing.

Both are very good. I personally felt the DSCL prints were about the same in quality, so as they are cheaper favour them.

Used to use Loxley a lot, was always impressed by print quality and turn around time and they are really helpful and friendly. Cost seemed alright, I used to use Roes to upload files and walk up to get my prints so no postage to pay.
Now they have moved out of town though I'd have to pay for postage which might mean I go elsewhere.

Having used both I now always use Loxley as I feel their quality and service aree worth the extra cost. As others have said, try them all and see what you think.

Loxley all the way.

Customer service is top notch, quality and consistency is worth the extra money.
Never had a bad print from them, proper pro service!

You will not regret it.

Regards,
Jon

I've downloaded Loxley software and I'm yet to actually print an album, does anyone else have problems aligning photgraphs or is it just me

I use Loxley ROES and the only problem I've had was user-error on my part...

When they ask for your account number they use that to inform the delivery address - regardless of any other info you've inputted.

I had a couple of prints go to a guy in Auchterader rather than to me, but to Loxley's credit, they replaced the prints for me and did a next-day delivery with no extra cost.

Plus, the prints themselves are very nice indeed.
