This the scene that greeted me this morning...










INo other cars were damaged,m and i can't think of anyone i may have upset, the mentality of these scum is beyond me.

Dreadful isn't it. I hope you report this to the police. There might be a spate of incidents in your area. Cool car btw. Probably why it was targeted.

This is the sort of scum I'd want lined up in my fantasy firing squad.

Mercifully it's just the window not the paint work
 
we had something similar a few years ago. they smashed the windows of most of the cars in the street. ours didn't get it though. someone however kicked the boot. I can understand why it would get smashed if someone way stealing but why just smash the window for no reason is beyond me
 
Yeah beyond me too, the cars 12 years old and not worth that much tbh, the car audio was £15 off a car boot sale so probably not that either, being as though they didn't take it lol.

It's just mindless vandalism, i have reported it to the police, and my insurers says it's covered on my windshield cover, £60 and they're coming to fix it tomorrow.

I might clean it when it's been repaired ;)

So that means they threw the rock through the window, reached in, took the rock out and dropped it on the floor. Also the glass on the road by the door would be caused by an outward smash. One more thing sir...

Absolute scum!!

The hardest part is yet to come unfortunately :( The fingerprint 'dust' the SOCOs use is a real git to get off your paintwork (y)

Maybe they didnt use that rock at all and its a complete coincidence that its lying there...;)
 
I know you probably don't feel it, but you were lucky compared to a friend of mine, the destroyed the vinyl top as well#with a knife

Unfortunately that shttered glass is probably going to be around for ever now. It's almost impossible to get rid of completely.
My car's rear windscreen was broken in a similay way and I was still finding bits of glass a few years later.

I guess you could look at it as it could have been worse. These little s***s like slashing soft top roofs with Stanley knifes. They did me sisters.

they may well have tried to steal it, thinking it would be easy, but the pugs had a complicated immobiliser system, so they probably decided f*** it.

I've thought about this and the only explanation i can think of is maybe they held on to the rock rather than threw it.

The weird thing is i'm actually going to look at another car tomorrow and was in the process of selling this one on Ebay :confused:

Correct, thats why they did it in the first place.
 
The police have just got back to me saying it's a negative response crime, in other words there's nothing they can do, i didn't expect them to be able to do anything anyway.

So i'll just pay Autoglass £60 and hope it's a one off.
 
And that is the reason why we'll never get to enjoy nice things in life for too long, I do feel for you. A few years ago I've had my old Ford Sierra's underside fuel lines cut. I just could not figure out who I've upset to make anyone do that to me. And I've lost count on how often I've had to replace broken-off door mirrors.
That is one of the reasons why I've given up car ownership as I got fed up with trying to patch my car up after someone or other has been at it.
 
Scum, end of. People who perpetrate this type of crime just need to sterilised to prevent breeding or simply put down.

Same here a little while back,but my glass in the front door the police think the noise they made disturbs my neighbour,and they ran of, was out for the night :(:mad:

You may be on to something here Sherlock. It really looks like hate / revenge crime, cycle-by stoning of the window, nothing stolen, etc.
 
My gf, had a pug 106 when we lived in a slightly dodgy bit of nottingham and some little s***s torched hers, which was really upsetting as she loved it an her uncle who was into has motors and helped pick up a mint example.
 
Really annoying that they think it's ok to smash,scratch etc someone else's property.Sister parked her new white focus outside my mums an hour later came out to see it keyed down to metal front to rear.Utter scum.

A friend of mine had his car broken into albeit a few years ago now,
and there was a palm & fingers print on the roof. (Sloppy Eh? ;)
And guess what? Yep they weren't interested in that either :(
