Yes
I have been buying Digital Photo magazine quite often recently and I see they do the Lowepro Orion Trekker free with a subscription.

What I would like to know does anyone here have one and what do you think of it, what can be stuffed in it etc etc

It is half camera bag, half ruck sack. You can fit 400d and kit lens and then 3 others at a push if one is the Nifty fifty!

I use mine a surprising amount. It comfortably takes my 30D with grip, and 24-70 attached, along with either a 550EX flash or nifty fifty in the bottom section. At a squeeze I can carry the 30D with grip and 70-200mm in the bottom, but that's a tight squeeze. ;) If I've got the 24-70 on the camera, then the 70-200 usually sits in the top section in its protective case.

When we go on holiday the Orion gets used as the "spares bag" - this year it carried: (in the bottom) Tripod ring for the 70-200. stofen diffuser, four films, tamrac filter pouch with filters, spare lens (Sigma 28-80mm) for the other half's camera, a scarf, a remote release, battery charger (old style Canon 2-port one) and cable, and in the top the carry pouch for the 70-200mm lens with the 550EX flash stuffed inside it, a rocket blower, and an external hard drive with all the cables. There were a few other bits and bobs too but I can't remember what off-hand.

Mine was a freebie too! (Practical photography I think)

It's OK, but I rarely use mine as I find it really difficult to get at camera equipment easily. There is a lip over the zip at the bottom section and I find it really difficult to undo. You have to take the rucksack off to get anything out, then lift up the top section - This can be quite tricky if the top bag is full. I prefer my walking rucksack and wrap my equipment in my fleece. It seems much easier.

i had one but upgraded to the mini trekker AW, it was good in the sense you could put your kit in the bottom half, then a packed lunch etc in the top half, but i soon run out of room for my kit.

Thanks everyone, I will subscribe and get one, might as well when I buy the mag anyway.

If it turns out that I don't like it there's nothing lost.

That's my current bag too. The bottom part all fits my 40D with 24-105 attached. Canon 70-300, 10-22 and 50mm f/1.4

Thats a good decision. It's a great magazine anyway.
If you don't like the sack for your camera it will come in useful as a rucksack, or to carry your shopping anyway.
