Lowepro Fastpack 350 (Red) - Only £36

Thanks for the thumbs up on this bag Mark, picked one up today for the £36, it seems well made and certainly will be more comfortable on a long walk than my shoulder bag and at a bargain price.
 
Agreed; it's a good bag and comfortable too. I exchanged mine for the 250 version as I don't need the space for a 17inch notebook.

Did anyone else take up this offer when it was on, I did and it dissappeared the next day from Jessops site, I have the confirmation e-mail confirming its £36, told to expect a text and me-mail for delivery 23rd December, my wife went in and they told her it hadnt been delivered from the warehouse yet, im still waiting :'(
 
Like wise, bought mine two weeks ago, promissed it instore for pick up next day didn't happen possibly due to the weather, now they keep telling me it will be tomorrow each day I phone.. Typical service from them though when it comes to offers!
Quick enough to sort products out for you when your splashing ££££'s on lenses etc with them though!

quick update, went into Jessops today whilst in town, the girl said oh it could be anything up to a month before it arrives but we will txt or e-mail you

Back up to £89 now....shame...looks a good bag!

Same old same old, just been to my local Jessops again this morning, its still on Special order, they are waiting for 6 of them according to the guy I spoke to, of course he offered to sell me the black one for full price, I politely declined :)

Yeah same problem here, bit awkward for the chap in my local Jessops he's sold me £k's worth of gear and done his best to beat the cheapest prices I find for him by a nice amount, he's obviously been told to try and fob it off as I think they don't think they will get these, he's contacted lowepro to see where they are and Lowepro don't have them at the moment and the reason for the sale price was because there are end of line stock, so sounds a bit like they sold more than they can cater for?? Although that said I am sure I have still seen the red version at full price with other stockists, simples Lowepro should get their stock for us.. If only!
We will see though, I hold little hope!
I was told the same thing with all the car rig gear I bought today that Jessops has to 'special order' them up to 28 days etc, I"ve been done once on their special orders by the looks of it so they can jog on with their special orders from now on!

I get the feeling they just want us to forget about it, I certainly wont, I only wish that Id taken the Tamron 60mm Macro when I saw it for £199 on the Jessops site, its now back up to £429, although I suspect I would have had the same issues that i have had with the Lowerpro bag
 
Feb now and still nothing, if they think im going to let this one go they can forget it

Well finally after ordering in December I finally got the Fastpack 350 today, its back up to its full price of £89 but he had to honour the price I ordered it at, he didnt seem to happy about it :)

All too bloody late though as I got another backpack a few weeks ago as I needed it then so im now left with a brand new Fastpack 350 Surplus to requirements, always the way
