Lowepro Classified 250 AW Shoulder Bag - £50 at Amazon

A bargain it certainly is but the volume of the bag is in it's height so suited to carrying a body with big zoom attached, plus if you fill the front pockets it becomes bulky as well as tall.

I have the 200 AW in sepia bought s/h for more IIRC which is basically the same but slightly smaller and I carry a few M4/3 bodies and lenses but they are stacked, I like it because it does not shout Camera kit bag.

I ordered one, you reckon it's a bit big for my Sony Nex?

It's only a bargain if it is suitable ;)

Reckon this could fit a 5DII with a 24-70 and a NEX 5N a small lens (usually old prime glass) and maybe a 50mm 1.4?

Love the way the smaller 200 model is more expensive then the 250 too :) Amazon and there pricing

A great post, thanks! Mine arrived today as I've been looking for something that doubled as a laptop/camera bag and this fits the bill perfectly!

I can get most of my camera gear in, or the laptop, accessories and paperwork plus a body and lens. Will be trying it out in London this weekend...

What would the 250 or 200 be like for 3 m43 bodies plus lenses, with space for additional lenses??

Julian, I have the 200 it was perfect for what i had and should do fine for what you have.

I actually thought the 250 was bigger than my 200 but the dimensions are the same the only difference being the 250 can accommodate a laptop.

If you prefer the Sepia like mine that does not shout camera bag it can be had for £69, still a bargain for this bag.

I bought it mainly as a storage or "go somewhere with every bit of kit I have" type of bag.

It fits all the following with space to spare:

Nikon D700 & Nikon FG, Sony Nex 3 & 18-55

Nikon 85mm f/1.4D AF Nikkor, 50mm F/1.4D, 60mm Micro AF-D, 18-35mm AF-D, 70-300mm VR, Tokina 28mm F/2.8 RMC, Nikon 35mm F/2.5 Series E

Nikon SB900 & SB600 Flashguns, Nikon MB-D10, Yongnuo N-918 GPS, Lee Big Stopper, Lee 1-3 stop soft grads, Hitech 3 stop ND, remote releases, rocket blower, 2 Spare En-el3e batteries, 8 spare AA rechargeables, 13" MBP & power cable, AA charger, en-el3e charger, card reader, usb cable, 2.5" ext hdd, 2 small screwdrivers, allen key, misc spare lens and body caps, spare tripod plates.

I'm generally a bit more selective of what kit I carry, I definitely wouldn't like to carry the weight of all that stuff in the bag very far.

Thx Mal, only problem I have with smaller 160 (or whatever it's called) is the opening is a little narrow and awkward. Assume it's better/easier on larger bag?

Jesus that's a lot of gear :)

I did not have any problem accessing mine, it has 4 loose dividers to position to suit what you have. I had a piece of sponge between the ones I had stacked.

There are also the two pockets under the flap that can hold a body each or body with maybe a pancake lens attached.

I've just ordered an 200AW for £49.95, got really cross using my Tamrac Pro 8 at the weekend, annoying flap and opening

I see the 250 AW has gone up to £75.

This bag arrived today, thankyou so much OP!

I wanted it for taking my laptop with me to shoots as I only have a small memory card at the moment so now I can just keep sending them to the laptop and start again! I didn't have a bag at all for my camera so it was a toss up between a card or bag! The bag won just because it's a huge bargain and I am very impressed with it!

hope this isn't going off topic toooo much, but can anone recommend me a bag... maybe this one is it?

i'm after something (over shoulder or backpack) which will fit:
gripped d700 with 70-200 attached
gripped d700 with 24-70 attached
plus maybe room for a few extra accessories (cards, batteries, maybe sb700)

i'm thinking one of the vertically loading shoulder bags would be the way?
it's really to use to transport kit on quick jobs, so I don't have to heave the Lowepro Vertex 200aw everywhere.

Bargain. I have a different Lowepro and cannot fault it's quality.

Went out with my new 200AW I received from Amazon last week. Fantastic, best bag I've owned

Managed to fit all this in the 250. Could probably fit more too.
