I recently contacted Lowepro about my Vertex 300aw. A small rivet on the handle had fallen out.
From my intial contact with them via email, I have received superb service from them. A lady called Megan Jones has kept me informed every day and after sending some photo's of the problem, she asked me to return the bag for inspection.
They only received the bag today and I have just opened an email from Megan saying that a new bag will arrive tomorrow via Fedex! :D
I would have been happy with the original bag back if they had said that the handle isn't likely to fail. It didn't look or feel like it would. It felt very solid still.
I just want to say that Lowepro and Megan Jones have excelled. Superb service! I have always rated their products. (I have three of their bags.) But as far as I am concerned, they will have my business as long as I shoot photo's and need to carry gear around.

Better luck than me - i sent a mail asking about a quote for a repair for AW300 where the zip has failed, (as cant find the receipt for warranty) and i never even had a acknowledgment.

Not sure. It probably is less than a year old. But in all honesty, I didnt expect a new bag. The handle really did still feel solid. I simply contacted them to see if they felt that a problem could arise in the future.
They were superb. They were genuinely concerned that one of their products could possibly have failed.

At no point did they ask me to provide a receipt. I contacted them via the contact form on their website and had an email waiting for me when i came home from work on the same day.
Maybe its worth you trying again. ;)

What email address did you write too Kev?
I have a minor issue with my Fastpack. Looks like the underwiring is starting to come through the material of the bag.

I used the email form at the bototm of this page:

The warranty for lowepro products lasts as long as the original owner owns that bag. It's not just for 12 months as I had thought. :)

Thanks for that Kev.
Good to know about the warranty too. I thought mine was less than a year old, but it's just over a year old.

I usually buy Lowepro for this reason - I had an issue with a zip on an old Toploader 75AW and they replaced that and it must have been 3-4 years.

Lowepros service is second to none! I deal with a young lady called Nik Small and she could not be more helpful!

Glad someone else has found them as good. Also nice to know that you dealt with a different member of staff and had the same service.
