Hi all,

Going on holiday on Friday and just wondering if any of you have taken a Lowepro flipside 500 AW as hand luggage on a British Airways flight from Heathrow before?

Not sure if it's slightly too big or not?

Thanks,
Wez

On BA, The main piece of cabin luggage must be no larger than 56cm x 45cm x 25cm including handles, wheels and pockets.

Measure it loaded to see if it complies.

Thank you Viv :)

It's the 25cm part - it measures in at 26cm! Would rather not risk it not being allowed on the flight. Hoped it would be fine, as it seems silly to buy another bag. Guess I'll have to now though.

Thank you for the info (y)

I would guess it's squashable if it's only 1cm in it. BA are more flexible than most.

It's the bag you want to be flexible, not the airline!

Hi Wezza13,I use the same bag, never had a problem with BA/Virgin or Cathay, should be fine...Even used it on small carriers between Hong Kong and the Philippines,Philippines airlines and Cebu airlines..No problems...
