Detest the stuff, but good source of vitamins for the Koi carp though, just spread on toast!:D

My brekkie tomorrow will be toast with loads of Marmite..........yumm

Quite like it. Also like bovril for drinking, which is practically marmite anyway.

The only thing that deserves the XO label is:

I love marmite ... but koi carp on toast! ...... :gag:

vintage marmite? Must be worse than the normal stuff............

Bovril is made from beef stock, Marmite is made from extract from yeast (spent yeast from breweries I believe.) Tastes very different!

Keep with the Bacon rolls! :D:p

All this talk of Marmite, I couldnt resist any longer..........it was yummy

Better than the only other source of yeast that springs to mind :gag:

Had to vote for Love It since there isn't an I can eat it but don't find it completely irresistable option. Handy for adding a little extra something to veggie recipes where I would use Bovril in meaty ones.

Given the choice, I go for Bovril over Marmite every time (apart from the veggie recipes) but can happilt eat Marmite on toast if there's no Bovril in the cupboard.

Love it eat it by the spoonful out of the jar. :D
Drink it, cook with it, try making cheese and marmite straws Yummmmmmmmmmm

Always accompanies me on holiday aslo as I can't have brekkie without it  (that and Branston Pickle, P.G Tips) :lol:like my home comforts.

The XO is superb, not as strong or in your face as regular. I do like marmite a lot, however, my wife loves it! I think we have about 4 jars at home.

Ahem! Linky (Can't believe it was almost four years ago)

Love it btw.

Just recently experienced Marmite Cheddar..... seriously yummy!

Marmite on toast with a liberal dash of Tabasco....heaven :)

Gonna have to buy some now to try it so I can take part, never tried it before, do like bovril though.

Marmite & marmalade

Dont ever knock anything until you've tried it - like baked beans with milk & butter
