When officials asked for the Welsh translation of a road sign, they thought the reply was what they needed.

Unfortunately, the e-mail response to Swansea council said in Welsh: "I am not in the office at the moment. Please send any work to be translated".

It makes you wonder why they bother with two-language signs. I don't think the population as a whole really needs or wants them, its more a case of unwanted bureaucrats in non-jobs doing their politically correct best to justify their position.
 
Love it. Shows how stupid theses councils can be.

I reckon some of these signs are dangerous. When driving, you can no longer glance at a sign and see the information you need, therefore it must take your attention away from the road and as such be an unsafe distraction.
