Louise's 52 :D

Hey everyone :wave: thank you for the comments, I know last weeks photo was a flop and I was dissapointed but hey ho on to the next pic. :D

This week I wanted to concetrate on depth of field as I really struggle getting a good depth of field, so this week we had a short break in France and as you may know I love capturing people and get fire in my tummy when I do and find still life quite flat......so I was really surprised when I took this next shot and was really pleased that I achieved what I wanted to and I really quite like it, so look forward to hearing what you all think.....appologies for it being a little late as didnt get back till late :D

Thank you martin, yeh its turning out to be better than im expecting, the hardest thing is time restraints!!! this annoying concept of work that everyone assists i attend always gets in the way :D
 
Louise, no worries on being a bit late ;)... you beat me to posting it :D...

I like it, the DOF is good, and it's clearly in the street. The only niggle I have is the large yellow thing at the bottom. I think I'd be tempted to crop it so there's just a thin strip of it left for the bottle to stand on.
 
The bottle is nice and sharp :thumbs:
I'd have been tempted to cover the stop sign with bottle to take it out of the background as it takes away from the bottle slightly.

Don't worry about being late, with the new theme I'm now 3 weeks behind!!:eek:
I think my Friday afternoon will be pretty busy to catch up.:D
 
Hey guys thank you for your replies, i agree about the yellow and the stop sign, i liked the colour add of the yellow bin and didnt notice the stop sign being overly powerful until you just said, lol but now you mention it i agree!! lol

oh im glad im not the only one struggling with time constraints!! :D

Hey thank you for the encouragement, i havent stopped posting just got really backed up with the weeks tasks but im going to catch up....it was my birthday and others too so been really busy, but going to get back on track and start uploading some things that ive shot and ive also got a new flashgun coming in the next couple of weeks soon thats very exciting...so will get posting very soon....sorry for the lapse!! :D

I know :tumbleweed: lol im sorry, i lost track and then never caught up and thought it would be cheating to catch up all in one week? can i do this or not? i thought i had just screwed up lol :(
