Hi guys my name is Louby, came across the site thanks to google.
A little bit about me....
Wife and mum of two teenagers and our black lab Ozzy. I am a total weather nut, whether it be just gorgeous sunsets or storm or tornadoes and spend alot of my time modding on a big weather site.
I got into photography way back when I was a little, my dad used to have a minolta that I was fascinated by it, and he would let me take the odd shot.
I didn't get my own camera until the late 90's when I got an olympus c330 zoom, which was a great little camera but not good for zoom or for trying to get lightning shots. Hubby then kindly bought me my Nikon D50 for Xmas a few years back and I loved it, got my first proper shot of lightning. Then last Xmas he got me my baby, my Canon.
I love all sort of photograph, but mainly weather, landscape and wildlife. Have started dabbling with portrait stuff and still life. I don't enhance my work, generally only straighten the odd horizon or crop it, but I am sure that will change in time, then again it may not. None of it I am wonderful at but I love every second I have a camera in my hand. I am still slowly but sure learning stuff.
Oh and I suppose I had best warn you I really am a bit of a loon, but I am sure you will learn to either ignore me or get used to me lol.
