Lou Reed is dead

That is sad. Been a fan since I got into him via Bowie and Transformer in '73. RIP Lou, many happy memories listening to your music. A musically very influential man:'(

At least he did live a hell of a lot in his 71 years!
 
Transformer is one of my favorite Albums.

Transformer was an awesome album, made some other good stuff as well.
 
As always a sad but inevitable loss.

First got into Velvet Underground and bought Lou's Berlin album when it came out. . Really impressed with the Transformer album co produced with Bowie's input.

RIP Lou - you always produced the goods (not including Metal Machine Music).

I know what I will be listening tonight - Rock and Roll Animal...
