Lost my tripod :( (probably in Weston Super Mare)

So I've always had this thought in the back of my mind of how annoying it would be to accidentally leave something behind while out on a shoot. This weekend it happened!

I was in Weston Super Mare Sunday evening enjoying the sunset, I was on the seafront near the Ferris wheel and some point between there and packing the car up (parked on the seafront) I managed to put down my tripod and not pick it back up (I think).

I thought it worth posting up here on the off chance that a fellow photographer may have come across it, although my hopes aren't high so I will probably use it as an excuse to upgrade.
 
Sadly it is unlikely it will turn up. So many day trippers just passing through. We live in hope. Nuisance as it is easy to get used to a favourite 'pod.

Thanks! To be honest I'm just glad it wasn't a lens I left behind somewhere! Still kicking myself though.
 
Make sure and ask the local police office, there are many honest folk about and check facebook, maybe another photographer found it.
I see quite a lot of found items on my fb feed,where the finder is trying to reunite the item with its owner.
 
I've already filled out a lost item form with Avon somerset police in the hope someone may have done the right thing! You never know, I know I've handed things in to the police in the past and they've been claimed by the rightful owner so karma may always play it's part!

Hope you only filled one form in, A&S are reet bathtubs for wasting police time (and even more so for speeding!) :P:P;)

More seriously, hope you get it back or wanted to upgrade/change anyway.
