Hey guys, feeling a bit stupid right now.
So I lost my camera, it was my (very trusty) 7 year compact so nothing insane in the budget dept but still, It was my first camera and I learnt photography from scratch on it.
I took it in a boat on a river with me several times and got some great shots. I kept it in a waterproof box, so it floated. Only this time the boat capsized. Anyway, I was so focused on righting and sorting the boat out (which isn't mine and is a multiple of x100 more expensive than the camera) that it basically floated slowly away. I was told later on it was within arms reach for ages and all I needed to do was reach for it.
Oh well, I always said that when it came to it I didn't care about anything as long as the boat isn't damaged and no one dies.
I knew the risk when I took it with me (why it was a compact) but I still feel like a massive dick for loosing it. :shake:
Sorry, just needed to say.
