i'll post this on my facebook page Tony as i have a few relatives in Biddulph Moor (assuming that's ok with you). Hope she turns up soon!

yes please the more publicity the better
There is the very sad and grave possibility she has got stuck in a rabbit hole, she shot off with jasper chasing a rabbit, jasper returned about half an hour later Daisy didn't we have searched frantically down every rabbit warren and fox hole I can think of
jasper shows no particular interest in any hole
There is also the possibility she has been picked up by someone as there is a busy public footpath across the fields to knypersley reservoir at the end of my garden

I've posted on FB as well. Have some birdwatching chums who are regulars in that area. Fingers crossed for a find soon.

Just got back from another search with a friend who brought up one of his springers
no joy we are wet muddy and cold
not easy ground to get to especially this time of year
rabbit warrens and fox holes are not in the most accessible places and there are so many of them and we have miles to cover
search resumes tomorrow night

Hope she turns up mate, feel your pain, my stepdad used to breed then and we once spent 2 full days digging one out from a steep hillside warren, she (queenie) was about 10 foot in and about 8 ft down but survived her ordeal.

We are planning a mass day time search of the surrounding farm land on Saturday
I feel more and more that being a jack russel and an avid rabbit chaser she is more likely to be stuck in a rabbit warren we just need to find which one

Just rung the fire service general help line at a friends suggestion and they are sending out a station manager to asses the situation apparently it is to do with requiring a licence if she is a badger set
never thought to phone the fire brigade myself thought they were for emergencies only
seen it on tv but never thought to ring them, felt a bit daft really ringing the fire service for a lost dog
perhaps I'll make the news at 10 lol
what service just had a call back after a few minutes and they are on their way
should have rung them sunday

We have a general idea of the fox holes and badger sets she may be in
I only rang the fire service at a friends suggestion and to explain the circumstances
apparently it is part of the service to find and rescue dogs
They sent The station coordination out very helpful chap he has surveyed the area and thermal imaging won't help in this situation, he was most helpful
Had we been able to locate her he would have called in the troops to rescue her
I did explain on the phone we don't know whether she is actual stuck underground or has been picked up I didn't expect them to send someone out but he said it was what they do and he was doing nothing today anyway

No good news
Another 3 hours search last night but to no avail jasper showed no particular interest in any animal, holes again just his normal rabbit chasing
It is looking more an more that someone may have picked her up which is better than her being stuck and suffering
just one rabbit warren area to search now
the area of land to cover is extensive
looking like the worst Christmas ever
my legs ache my back aches and my heart aches
The search continues again tonight after work the weather is looking horrendous but the search will go on

Hopefully if she's been lifted her mothering instincts will lead her too escape and find her way home. Best of luck with the final search area.
 
still no news searched all the surrounding fields and woodlands now
placed missing posters in the town centre, updated all the existing ones with CASH Reward
and put up lots more further afield

have you checked the local kennels to you that take in any strays
we have one local to us and they take in ant lost and found dogs and also from the police
lets hope somebody has taken her in and gets spotted that way
 
just placed a missing add in the local weekly paper double size with pics as per my missing posters
trying to do the big Staffordshire evening paper The Sentinel but there easy on line add system won't work
Also compiling a You tube video of her too as a missing dog video

Just checking in to see if there was any news.
 
Still no news
managed to place the add for 4 days in the big evening paper the Sentinel for Saturday for a 4 day listing
had to use the desk top and firefox Chrome wouldn't work
Hopefully we will get some info on her where abouts
