Anyone else watching it, and if so, are you up to date with the most recent USA episode?
I would like to discuss

last nights on sky one is the latest for me, Ben and Locke episode..i SO love Lost at the moment, not a crap episode yet in this season
I watched 'The Sopranos' religiously - another great series, but it ended with a 'WTF' ending leaving you feeling a bit cheated somehow.
Oh and we know Ben is close to creating "The Purge". I wonder if it's the presence of the Losties that makes him loose it. He is now having to follow Locke, do what Locke says. Perhaps Ben thinks if he kills the Losties (and the rest of the Dharma crowd)! Future Ben would need to orchestrate his plan to younger Ben though...
its all a little odd..Jim from neighbours was in it last night(cos thats he looked when he WAS jim from neighbours) but Richard Alpert doesnt ever age!
LOL. I love 'Lost' but it's getting so farpin complicated now I'm struggling to keep up. I do have niggling doubts that they can ever bring the story line to a conclusion that makes absolute sense and ties up all the loose ends - especially when they're making it up as they go along.
just watching the series is confusing and seeing theories here isn't helping me
Watching Lost is a household event here. Anyone talking during gets shouted at - not by me though.
Not sure I'd go quite that far.not a crap episode yet in this season
I'm struggling with how Ben can be in the present as both adult & kid.Ben and Locke are in the present so the purge has already happened.

I thought they had the conclusion from the start? I remember reading that they insisted on an end date with ABC, and apparently the actor that plays Jack, Matthew Fox, has known the entire story from day 1...
Awful complicated show to just make upMaybe they are though, who knows.

Anyone here got a handle on how the time travel actually works? Are they moving back to their past? And if so, could they in theory see themselves when younger? Could old John Locke see a young John Locke?
And if so, why can't they change things?
Also, what happens when they have a "time flash", do the people around them simply see that individual disappear? Locke had one in front of Richard Alert I think (at the time the the Compass was handed over). Did Richard see him disappear and then later comment on it? (When John gave him the compass)...
All very confusing.

Finale? There's two more episodes ?!
On a a slight Lost tangent...
The show was initially(and still to some extent) spurned due to its z-list cast, with the only vaguely established actor being the annoying hobbit from LOTR.
Not so, and I'm surprised at where I'm now seeing the cast retrospectively pop up.
For instance:
Locke - X-Files film, 1997ish
Ethan - Minority Report, 2002
Sayid - English Patient,1997, among others.
Witmore - Neighbours, 1984 (obviously!)
Linus - Saw, 2004
Any others?
Another one,Yeah, Cortez I recognise now, and I've definitely seen Mr Eko in stuff. In fact, I keep recognising him now in some quite old programs.
Aye, think I've noticed some other continuity errors too.
What do you reckon?
Or use the

tags
Actually that post does seem to make alot of sense I think.
Just one question, who says it's about the end of mankind?
I reckon you take things far too seriously
Lost is designed to keep you confused - I just accept that.
Technically yes, as we have already seen that Myles has seen himself as a child back in 1977Anyone here got a handle on how the time travel actually works? Are they moving back to their past? And if so, could they in theory see themselves when younger? Could old John Locke see a young John Locke

I believe i read somewhere that they brough polar bears to the island to see if they could train them to live in conditions they were not used to. (freezing cold to tropical climate)...i may be wrong ***?Will we get an answer to the fickin' polar bears - that's what's worrying me!![]()
