HI Al,

Does any one know where I can get a new cover for the 'extension system terminal' its one of the ports on the left side of the camera (looking from the back)?

One day it was there. The next day it was gone. :bonk: I'd never even taken it off to see what the connector looked like lol.

Hows that 100-400 on the 1DmkIII?

Lost the cover from my 1Ds.
Fixation sell them £7.50 for 2 includes postage.

They call them TOE caps and have loads in stock.. Must be a common occurrence

That should speed up the whole process although I'm a bit surprised that a 'Pro spec' camera has rather important parts (i.e. waterproof capabilities) falling off them in such regularity?

I guess you live and learn and £7.50 annoying though it is won't break the bank this time round. :bang:
