Hey all,
I've just got myself a new Tokina 12-24 lens, and was looking to buy some filters. This lens will obviously be my landscape lens. I have a couple of Cokin filters that I used with my 18-55 kit lens, an ND8 and a grad filter, are these usable on my new lens, or will I have that fringing problem i've heard about? Obviously if I was to use these I would need to get another ring for 77mm, will I need a new holder too, or are they all the same size?
If I can't use them then what other brands are recommended? I hear a polarizer is useful in landscapes, I see the Hoya 77mm. These seem to be screw on though, am I right in thinking you can obviously only have one screwed on at a time? Only i've just bought myself a 10 stop filter which may or may not arrive in time for my holiday, but obviously this won't be used in all my landscape shots, i'll need another 'not so extreme' filter for other shots
But I won't be able to use that as well as a polarizer, as the 10 stop one is screw on (am I right?)
