Looking for

I am looking for a foldable octa, 100-120cm, balcar fitting, grid would be nice. Anyone have any suggestions? I have been looking at the walimex octas on prostudio360 but thought I would post on here to see if anyone had any different suggestions!

I've only used one Walimex softbox in the past but it didn't mesh well with my existing ones when it came to colour temperature (the difference was quite dramatic), otherwise they seemed not especially different from most other brands.

There's the Lencarta 85cm, Eli Rotaluxes (they also have a new non-Rotalux model coming out sometime this year), Bessel might be an option as I think the adapters that Lencarta sell would fit (you'd need to confirm that first, I haven't personally tried and don't currently have any Bessel softboxes to compare).

The Balcar fitting is obsolete, not that they were ever popular, but for some reason is also used by Alien Bees, so searching for Alien Bees fitting may help.

We may have just one of these softbox fittings left in stock, but I won't be able to check until Monday.
If so, then it will fit on to our 120cm Profold softbox but we are currently out of stock of these softboxes and they are literally on a slow boat from China so we're looking at about 5 weeks before they're back in stock.
