on the assumption that the OP is genuine, i'd suggest that forums,groups and such (as well as actual clubs) for whatever his interests might be might be a better option for meeting partners than online dating which is both expensive and rife with people who 'aren't entirely accurate' about looks, marital status , or intentions

at least when you meet them via forums people don't generally feel the need to pretend to be a 26" waist when they actually mean a size 26 waist
 
The OP may be genuine, or a time waster. Unfortunately, since they have been a member, not a lot of activity, to show they are a genuine contributing member. But you never know, they may come back and really get stuck in. Just really do not know what others have going on.

It would be nice if the OP did keep his thread updated, and let us know what is happening. After all, if he is not going to tell us, why ask?
 
Just hope he / she is not reading this, and having a good old giggle at our concern. :(
 
tbh its not going to happen because if hes genuine, hes not a photographer, hes just someone who wants some pictures taking ...

So he has only joined to solely ask a member, to take some photos of him? But he has had a couple of offers, and freebies too. He has not taken up the offers.

At this rate, most of us will have made more posts replying to his thread, then he has done in the three years he has been a member. :confused:

(Why they don't simply say hello to half a dozen people a day in the "Welcome Forum" is a mystery to me, presumably it's soo far away from the classifieds section in the list of areas they've never noticed it...)

The Classifieds are not exactly awash with low priced bargains. Newbies probably think they will have access to low cost cameras, and kit once they hit the posting criteria. I don't think I have ever bought or sold anything, via Talk Photography Classifieds.

Must admit, I probably thought the same too. Oh well, just make do with using the forums as a form of amusement, and entertainment. Oh and socialising too. :)
 
Ah well a week later and still no response either via this thread of to the p.m sent ,either he's met the girl of his dreams on faceberk or found the phone number for the local Lilo lil in the toilets at leasowe ,.another day another time waster

There is still time, @Tef probably likes to take his time and make sure he does the right thing . You can't rush him ;).

By the time he get round to it I,ll be mounting my camera on a Zimmer frame instead of a tripod
