As it says...I'm looking for some lighning brushes to download. Anyone know of any good ones out there? Obviously free are preferable!!!

Thanks. I've been doing that myself but the lightning always comes out as a straight line, then needs lots of work to make it forked. I thought some preset brushes would just make it quicker and easier.

It's not a program it's a photoshop brush you've downloaded.
open the file you downloaded it's a zip file, inside is a folder containing the brush (the ABR file) and a few other bits (not needed for now) drag the ABR file outof the zip file onto desktop or somewhere you can find it.
Then open photoshop and after it's opened leave it open and go back to the abr file, double click it and it should load into photoshop. To use it click on the brush tool, then on the top toolbar (just under the word image) is the brush options, size hardness etc, click the little down arrow to open that and you should see the different brushes, the new ones are always on the bottom.
